Our fees

Our service fee for handling the transfer of a Canadian vessel licence is $300. This fee covers the preparation of all necessary documents, verification of ownership, submission to Transport Canada, and ongoing communication and support throughout the process. Optional lien search is available for an additional $75. The fees do not include taxes associated with the transfer, which are the responsibility of the applicant.

What we offer:

  Review and validate ownership documents, such as bills of sale, notarized declarations, or invoices.

• Identity Verification:

  Collect and verify proof of identity for both the vendor and purchaser (e.g., government-issued IDs).

• Lien Searches:

  Conduct searches to confirm the vessel is free from liens or encumbrances.

• Payment Processing:

  Collect and process required transfer fees on behalf of the applicant.

• Submission Management:

  Submit the completed application and supporting documents to Transport Canada.

• Communication Handling:

  Act as the intermediary between Transport Canada and the applicant, responding to queries or requests for additional information.

• Status Tracking:

  Monitor the progress of the application and provide updates to the applicant.

• Final Document Delivery:

  Deliver the new vessel licence or proof of transfer to the applicant once issued.

• Compliance Guidance:

  Advise applicants on additional requirements, such as maintaining vessel markings or adhering to Transport Canada regulations.
